Before I begin to give a speech, I would like to invite you to thank to Allah the Almighty, Who has given us Mercy and Blessing, so we can meet together in this blessing place. And also I don't forget to deliver sholawat and salam to our prophet Muhammad SAW, Who has brought us from the darkness to the brightness, so we are always in the right way.
 

Ladies and gentlemen
 

It be a great honor for me, to stand right here in front of you all to give a speech about education under the title "What happen with our education?" in this National Education Day or HARDIKNAS.
 

To begin this speech, I would ask you two things about our education. What happen with our education?  Is our education well enough or bad enough if we compere with other country?
 

If you have ever heard about the news last year about our international education rank, you would be surprised. As quoted form Education for All (EFA) Global Monitoring Report  2011 which is published by UNESCO and launched in New York on Sunday, 1/3/2011,  our international education rank is at 69th place from 129 surveyed countries all over the world. This rank is lower than in 2010.
 

It opens a question that runs in my head, what happen with our education? Indonesia is a great country with many talented young generations. It was undoubted again that there are so many Indonesian students who win the international education Olympiads such as mathematics, chemical, physics and other. But why our international education rank is still low. So what happen with with our education? 

Our government had made some policies which relate to the improvement of our educational standard by improving the national examination (UN) standard which rise year by year. Our government also made an effort to improve our educational standard by improving the teachers' quality with a program which well known as "Sertifikasi". But why our education rank never change. So what happen with our with education?

So what happen with our education?
 

But sooner I realize one thing. Our education rank actually depends on one thing, only one thing. Our education rank depends on us. Good or bad the education of the countries depend on their students. If we want to change our bad educational paradigm, lets begin with change our perspective with the terms of education itself by keep trying, keep studying, keep innovating, keep inventing for sake of our education.

Not much that I can say to day, just a few of words above that I can deliver to you at this moment, thank a lot for your attention and I also ask forgiveness for my mistakes, and the last I say:

My dear friends
What was the first thing you figured out in your head when you heard a word "Mom". A best friend? A wish-adviser? A good teacher? Or a real hero? Whatever it is, one thing is clear she is everything.

It is hard to find a word to describe a person who always encourages us to be the real us; a person who shows the right path when we lost; a person who always listen well to every single problems we have and the person who never stop to support us. Yeah, Mom is indeed everything.

'Mom is everything' may be the only explanation that can explain all good things she has done to us. Just remember for a second how much tears she has dropped to make us grow healthy, and live happily. Just remember for a moment how many sacrifices she has done to see us succeed and independent.
She gives us love that none else can give. She gives us happiness that nothing else can give. She gives us valuable lessons of live that no teachers can give. She gives us everything because she thinks we are everything to her.
My friends
In this fine moment of Mother's Day, let's make it as a day to remind everything she has done to us, her sons. Let's make this day as the starting point to give loves like she has given, to give happiness like she has given. Because she is everything. She deserves all good things in this world. Let's repay all her kindness with  always be good sons, be a pride of her and be her hero in her old days.
Not much words that I give in this opportunity, because I think this speech is not aimed to reply all affection, sacrifice, love, laugh and tears of Mom that she gives. But I hope after hearing this speech, lest reply her affection, sacrifice, love, laugh and tears of our Mom with grant all her hopes. Thank you.

SEX EDUCATION AT SCHOOL
Teenagers are the most important part of the growth of the country. They are the new generation. However there are many teenagers have been depraved. They run to drugs, commit suicide free sex, drink alcohol, smoking, etc. Those are spreading in teenagers’ life. And the most popular problem is free sex. Many teenagers think that sex before married is proper. We know that it is very bad for them. There are many bad effect of free sex. Such as, we can suffer from HIV/AIDS and then the pregnancy for the girls. It will damage their future.
Teenagers must be given sex education especially at school. The need of comprehension about human sexuality in teenagers’ life must be fulfilled. They must know about free sex life and the sex crime that often happened. They must aware about responsibility of their self. They should get much information about sexuality rightly for them. The information can be given by sex education at school. The teachers can describe sex for the students in order that the teenagers will avoid sex before married.
School is good mediator in giving sex education for the teenagers. School has good condusif situation. School and the teachers are the second circle after the family. It will be better if the teachers hold an event like seminar with a doctor as the speaker. In order that the teenagers can get sex education deeply and give them the aim of sexual activity correctly. With sex education, the teenagers will be careful in doing something about sex. Although they know about how to avoid the pregnancy, put virginity is very important for the woman. Sex before married just makes us fall into a trap. There are some aims of sex education for the teenagers. Which are they can understand that sexuality as the part of life. They also know about the consequences of un-responsible sex activity.
So, sex education is very needed for the teenagers. Starting now, sex education must be given to them. And for sure, the teenagers that fall into free sex. Drugs, alcohol, etc just a few part of many teenagers that want to study hard, and avoiding free sex.

Today, in this gold opportunity, I would like to give you a speech about "Our Environment". 
Realize it or not, we live in this world depends on the environment, we drink water from our environment, we breath air from our environment and we eat foods which planted from our environment. Our environment has a great influence in our live. Our environment gives us life. Good or bad our environment definitely will affect our live even our existence.
Let's close our eyes and remember few years back. There were many green trees around us. But now those green trees are gone and replaced with grey stiff buildings.  Few years ago, we could still breath deeper to fill our lung with fresh air of oxygen. But now that refreshing oxygen was gone and replaced with thick Carbon Monoxide. Few years ago, we could still look at our reflections on the river because of the clear water. But now those reflection was gone and replaced with pale face of trash.

Carbon Monoxide that we breath and polluted water that we drink become our daily menu right now. Do we just stay still and enjoy those bitter menu everyday? Or we can do something small hoping to taste fresh oxygen and clear water once more.

Ladies and gentlemen
Small action such as planting some trees, put trash in the right place and reduce the usage of motor vehicel will save our environment from destruction. Once more, our life depends on our environment. Treat it well and it will treat us well.
I think that’s all my speech. I hope my brief speech about environment will be useful for us.  And also I would like to say sorry for all of my mistakes. Thank you very much for your attention.

Yang terhormat: para juri, perserta lomba siswa kreatif dan semua pengunjung.Sebelum saya memulai untuk memberikan sebuah pidato, saya ingin mengajak kalian semua untuk bersyukur kehadirat Allah yang maha kuasa, yang telah memberikan rahmat dan hidayahnya, sehingga kita bisa berkumpul di tempat yang diberkati ini. Dan juga saya tidak lupa untuk memanjatkan sholawat dan salam untuk nabi kita Muhammad SAW, yang telah membawa kita dari zaman kegelapan ke zaman yang terang benerang. 

Hadirin yang terhormat

Hari ini, di kesempatan emas ini, saya ingin menyampaikan sebuah pidato tentang “lingkungan kita”.

Sadari atau tidak, kita hidup di dunia ini tergantug pada lingkungan, kita minum ari dari lingkngan kita, kita menghirup udara dari lingkugan kita dan kita memamakn makanan yang ditanam dari lingkungan kita. Lingkungan kita memiliki pengaruh yang sangat besar dalam kehidupan kita. Lingkungan kita memberi kita kehidupan. Baik atau buruknya lingkungan kita akan berpengaruh pada kehidupan kita bahkan keberadaan kita.

Mari kita tutup mata dan ingatlah kembali beberapa tahun kebelakang. Terdapat banyak pohon hijau di sekeliling kita. Tapi sekarang pohon-pohon hijau tersebut lenyap dan digantikan dengan bangunan kaku berwarna abu-abu. Beberapa tahun yang lalu, kita masih bisa bernafas dengan dalam mengisi paru-paru kita dengan udara yang segar, oxgen. Tapi sekarang oxygen yang menyegarkan tersebut lenyap dan digantikan dengan karbon monoksida yang pekat. Beberapa tahu yang lalu, kita masih bisa melihat bayangan kita pada sungai karena kejernihan airnya. Tetapi sekarang bayangan tersebut lenyap dan digantikan dengan wajah pucat sampah-sampah.

Karbon monksida yang kita hirup dan air yang tercemar kita minum menjadi menu sehari-hari kita sekarang. Apakah kita hanya diam dan menikmati menu pahit tersebut setiap hari? Atau kita bisa melakukan sesuatu yang kecil berharap untuk merasakan kesegaran oxigen dan kejernihan air sekali lagi.

Kegiatan kecil seperti menanam pohon, membuang sampah pada tempatnya dan mengurangi penggunaan kendaraan bermotor akan menyelamatkan lingkungan kita dari kehancuran. Sekali lagi, kehidupan kita tergantung pada lingkungan. Perlakukan lingkungan dengan baik dan lingkungan akan memperlakukan kita dengan baik.

First of all, let us praise to the Almighty Allah SWT, because of His Blessing we are able to gather here, to attend a farewell ceremony for the students of SMAN 1 Tanjung, XII grade in academic year 2013–2014. Secondly, may shalawat and salam be upon the Prophet Muhammad SAW who has guided us from the darkness into the brightness.

My friends, in this good opportunity, I stand here to represent all the students of SMAN 1 Tanjung Grade XII to give a valedictory speech.

There are so many things that I want to say here to express how thankful we are. I can't find a word to express this tears of joy of remembering all memories that we have been through during this past three years. All we want to say is we are proud to belong here, to study here and to meet all great teachers that we have ever met. 

We would like to say thank you very much for all the teachers of SMAN 1 Tanjung who have taught, educated, and guided us so that we can pass the national exam (UN) successfully. Thank you very much for your dedication. We know that your advice, guidance, and motivations have made us better not only in thinking but also in attitudes. My teacher, we realize that we cannot give you any reward. It seems that there are not single reward that can be representative our thankfulness for your merit. We can only give you gratitude and pray. May God repay your kindness. May God always bless you all.

We would also like to apologize to all of the teachers, administration staffs and all the elements of SMAN 1 Tanjung. Please, forgive our mistakes, forgive all the bad things that we have done, forgive all stupid things that make you angry and hopefully we can make our attitudes better than before. 

We know, this is the top point of all three years journey together here. There are a lot of laugh, cries, smile, beautiful things that we have experienced. I hope, we will always remember those days forever. And make them as beautiful memories in our life.

I would like to express gratitude to God for giving the opportunity to attend this event. I also would like to thank to the audience who served the time and the place for me in this pulpit.

 

Ladies and gentlemen,

 

Indonesia is a huge country and absolutely rich. We have millions of different natural resources from the sea, forest, mining, and many more. Indonesia is predicted to be one of the developed countries which are able to take over the world. In fact, European countries often made ​​the calculation that if the Indonesian people unite and work together to develop this country, Indonesia will become a superpower country like America or Russia.

 

However, why has Indonesia not been able to be a developed country until now? Perhaps, our country does not have the good human resources. However, I feel there is one thing that becomes the core of all the problems. All the problems that we have are absolutely come from corruption.

 

Of course, corruption makes our country become unstable and does not have a solid system. The state’s finances are destroyed, the development is going to be stunted, and ultimately, the people of Indonesia do not get their rights. Indonesian people are very miserable; our country is not going to be well because the uneven development, bad channeled educational subsidy, and the stunted development of public facilities.

 

Several of us may not feel the impact of corruption directly, but our friends who live in the isolated areas feel it so much. They cannot cross the river because there is no bridge; they cannot be an educated people, and they cannot connect to the world because they do not have internet access. In fact, they have the same opportunity to the people in the big city but they haven’t.

 

Then, how to tackle corruption in this nation? How to wipe out the corruption?

 

Ladies and gentlemen,

 

To wipe the corruption out, we need much more patience and work harder. We must tell ourselves to not take something that does not belong to us. Corruption is begun by stealing something small, and evolves into a theft to the large sums of money. Train us to be afraid to take something that does not belong to us, and continue to be grateful for the sustenance that has been given by God.

 

In addition to teach yourself to keep working hard and do not take anything that is not your right, we also have to educate our children to have an independent attitude, honest, and forbid them to take other people’s stuff without permission.

 

Ladies and gentlemen, although corruption is a difficult problem to overcome, but I believe we can solve it. Indonesia requires us to unite, promote, and liberate the country from corruption.

Bahkan, negara-negara eropa sering membuat perhitungan bahwa jika bangsa Indonesia bersatu dan bahu membahu untuk memajukan negara ini, maka Indonesia akan menjadi negara adidaya layaknya Amerika atau Rusia.

 

Namun, mengapa Indonesia belum mampu menjadi negara maju hingga saat ini? Mungkin negara kita tidak mempunyai sumber daya manusia yang baik untuk menjadi negara maju. Namun, saya merasa ada satu hal yang merupakan masalah inti dari semua masalah yang ada. Semua masalah yang kita miliki berasal dari korupsi.

 

Korupsi yang dilakukan tentu saja membuat negara kita menjadi labil dan tidak mempunyai sistem yang solid. Keuangan negara menjadi hancur, pembangunan terhambat, dan pada akhirnya rakyat Indonesia tidak mendapatkan hak mereka sebagai warga negara.  Rakyat Indonesia sangat sengsara karena pembangunan yang tidak merata, bantuan pendidikan tidak tersalurkan dengan baik, dan fasilitas-fasilitas umum terhambat pembangunannya.

 

Beberapa dari kita mungkin tidak merasakan dampak korupsi secara langsung, namun teman-teman kita yang tinggal di tempat terpencil sangat merasakannya. Mereka tidak bisa menyeberang sungai karena tidak ada jembatan, mereka tidak bisa bersekolah karena tidak mempunyai uang, dan mereka tidak bisa berhubungan dengan dunia luar karena tidak mempunyai akses internet. Padahal, mereka mempunyai kesempatan sama dengan masyarakat di kota besar.

 

Kemudian, bagaimana mengatasi korupsi yang ada di bangsa ini? Bagaimana menghancurkan korupsi hingga tidak tersisa?

 

Para hadirin,

 

Untuk mengatasi korupsi, kita memerlukan kesabaran dan kerja keras. Kita harus latih diri kita sendiri untuk tidak mengambil sesuatu yang bukan milik kita. Korupsi diawali dengan mencuri sesuatu yang kecil, kemudian berkembang menjadi pencurian uang dalam jumlah besar. Latih diri kita untuk takut mengambil sesuatu yang bukan milik kita dan terus bersyukur terhadap rezeki yang telah diberikan oleh Tuhan.

 

Selain melatih diri sendiri untuk terus bekerja keras dan tidak mengambil sesuatu yang bukan haknya, kita juga harus mendidik anak-anak kita untuk mempunyai sikap mandiri, jujur, dan melarang mereka untuk mengambil barang orang lain tanpa izin.

 

Para hadirin, meskipun korupsi merupakan masalah yang sulit diatasi, namun saya yakin kita mampu melakukannya. Indonesia membutuhkan kita untuk mempersatukan, memajukan, dan membebaskan negara ini dari korupsi.
